Group IT Director (M/F)

As a Group IT Director you are responsible for designing, developing and implementing IT initiatives that create customer and/or business value. Your responsibilities include influencing and directing the company’s IT infrastructure, applications and digital evolution to ensure key business strategies and processes are driven by systems that enable change, growth and flexibility.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead, development and implemenation of IT initiatives that enable the company to compete more vigorously and more profitably in a constantly changing and demanding marketplace
  • Ensure availability of necessary application systems to support business and operational needs
  • Prioritization and scheduling of new and on-going IT projects, coordination with managers to ensure cooperation and project execution. Assignment and tracking of projects, preparation of reports to management on status and deviation of goals
  • Development of IT policies and procedures for ensuring consistency in standards and leveraging common systems
  • Providing long term development planning strategies, research for new systems and equipment, negotiating with providers and vendors
  • Preparation and tracking of IT budget and costs for projects and expenditures


  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Well-rounded business background
  • Profit and loss (P&L) orientation
  • Proficient in English and Italian or German
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Strong ability to work in a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize
  • Hands on mentality
  • Major ERP package experience
  • Agile methodologies, ITIL certification, project management certification are of advantage
