IT Digital Application Specialist (M/F)

We're looking for an experienced IT Digital Application Specialist to join our IT Omnichannel Customer Experience Team and manage our B2B Digital commerce solutions. You will oversee both off-the-shelf and custom-made solutions central to Oberalp's B2B sales strategy. You'll have the chance to assess and propose technical advancements for our platform within an omnichannel setting, alongside our B2C and Retail solutions. You'll be committed to achieving a seamless and optimized digital commerce experience for our primary customers, and ensuring that our technology is always driving us forward.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Managing testing processes, overseeing implementation efforts, ensuring ongoing maintenance, and providing initial support and guidans to internal customers
  • Planning, coordinating, and implementing omnichannel applications in an Agile environment
  • Conducting technical analysis and specification, defining requirements with stakeholders
  • Maintaining, improving, and providing 1st level support for the applications
  • Collaborating with Business departments and other IT areas
  • Supporting cross-functional knowledge transfer, identifying digital trends, and best practice solutions
  • Managing vendors and agencies



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Strong experience, at least 3 years, in designing, implementing and managing software solutions in microservices architecture.
  • Direct participation to the implementation and/or management of at least two digital commerce solutions (B2B/B2C), a plus if in the fashion or outdoors industries
  • Background in software development is required
  • Strong experience with API management and experience managing cloud technologies, with a preference for experience with Azure
  • Good understanding of digital IT architecture and implementation
  • Experience with Jira or similar ticketing tools
  • Experience in managing digital project in Agile environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of software such as PIM and DAM is a plus
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English, as well as fluency in either Italian or German
  • You are results oriented, end-customer oriented and a strong team player
