Product Development THW Internship (M/F)

We are seeking an intern with a creative mindset, who enjoys the product creation process from design to technical development, with the aim of supporting the Technical Hardware Team for at least 6 months.
You will support the Product Developer Technical Hardware for our brands Salewa, Wild Country and Dynafit in the development of Technical Hardware components (carabiner, crampons, axes, climbing components) from the creation of new styles to concept phase and salesman samples. This includes handle 3D model components and realize 2D drawing.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Creation and revision of 2D drawings, starting from 3D files
- Support in preparing tech sheets and documentation for the project manager of Technical Hardware
- Collaboration with the Technical Hardware team and support in archiving drawings
Profile
- Technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering
- Ability to use 3D Cad. Siemens NX is preferred
- Experience (even short) in the role
- Very good Italian and English skills
- Teamwork orientation and good communication skills
- Passion for climbing or mountaineering
