Brand Representative Salewa Südtirol/Alto Adige (M/F)

As a Brand Representative Salewa you are responsible for the management of the day-to-day activities of the sales tasks in the assigned region (Südtirol - Alto Adige) to implement the organization’s wholesale commercial strategy. Your tasks include the building and development of relationships with clients and partners to maximize the business interests, presentation and technical explanation of the new collection to clients/wholesalers/retail partners. Furthermore, you are responbile for the collection of pre-orders as well as for the negotiation with existing and new strategic wholesalers.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Implementation of the company strategic plans and programs designed for growth and profitability of the assigned brand in the respective area
  • Management of all dealers located in the assigned area with periodic/regular visits to achieve the defined sales targets
  • Management of the in-store tasks, being the main point of contact
  • Training of dealers' sales teams
  • Participation in the accurate implementation of the brand building/positioning strategy and support of the trade marketing team
  • Creation and development of new business opportunities through category expansion, partnerships and promotions
  • Development of the online channels if the dealer has an e-com
  • Sales promotion and brand representation during public events
  • Salesman samples management, taking care of the showrooms
  • Management of objections, claims, cancellations, delays and problem solving


  • 3+ years’ experience in a sales position with an outdoor or consumer goods background is a plus
  • Understanding of outdoor industry and a personal interest in mountain / alpine sports is a must
  • Excellent German skills, good Italian skills
  • Strong customer focus and knowledge of consumer branding, communication and promotional techniques
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the sales process
  • Availability to travel frequently
  • Analytical approach and ability to read data reports
