Junior Apparel Design Dynafit Internship (M/F)

We are looking for an Intern for our Dynafit team with the mission to support the design team in the creation of innovative and technologically advanced products that meet the needs of today’s mountain athletes.

As an Apparel Design Intern you will work closely with product designers, product managers, product developers and product marketing team, to create designs respecting development timelines and target cost.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support the design team in the creation of the seasonal apparel collection, including accessories and trims.
  • Assist in the elaboration of product techpacks for apparel and accessories, providing product information sheets with detailed 2D & 3D sketches combining CLO3D and Illustrator
  • Support the product marketing team with product renderings of the seasonal apparel collection, combining CLO3D and Photoshop
  • Support the interaction with external suppliers and the marketing department in the creation of the workbook.
  • Assist the preparation of product overviews in Adobe INDESIGN, in order to support the product marketing team in the development of the lookbook and workbook
  • Help the creation of SMU (special make ups) of specific product combining CLO3D, Illustrator, Photoshop and generative AI tools
  • Support the research and develop seasonal graphics, combining the usage of Illustrator, Photoshop and generative AI tools.
  • Support the research of trend- and market-based color concepts

 

Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Product (Apparel) Design or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
  • Knowledge of CLO 3D and 3D rendering engines
  • Developed skills in sketching, concept ideation, technical 3D drawings, color- and trend theory, visual presentation and graphic art skills.
  • Ability to organize and complete task in autonomy respecting timelines and brief.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, often under strong pressure to meet deadlines
  • Comprehensive understanding of garment construction, pattern making & textiles
  • Proficient in English and Italian or German
  • Mountain passion and experience (back-country skiing, climbing, hiking, running, mountainbiking etc.)
