Product Management Salewa Internship (M/F)

The Product Management Department enhances product positioning and improves product profitability through building seasonal and long-term line plans that are aligned to the Brand strategy. It ensures that the right product is coming in time with the right quality and price to the market. The Product Manager combines active product use, understanding of today‘s sport cultures, market knowledge and input from the product and sales teams to build product line plans. 


We are looking for an intern in our Product Management Department for at least 6 months starting around October. You will get a 360° overview on how a product line is set up starting from market and competitive landscape analysis to the product concept, design and the development process until the handover to sales and go-to-market.


Tasks and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers and the product development team to produce contents
  • Provide ideas as well as opportunities to assist and enhance the product marketing strategy
  • Support the product managers with periodic sales/market analysis & product presentations
  • Help to create and manage seasonal projects
  • Support in the monitoring of project timelines and budgets
  • Help to develop, maintain and update collections files
  • Assist the product managers in monitoring competitor’s landscape in terms of product/marketing/communication assets



  • University student in management, economics, textile management, sport-management or similar 
  • Good knowledge of the English language and Italian or German language
  • Analytical skills 
  • Strong organizational skills & good prioritization skills 
  • Open minded, hands-on mentality, team player
  • Passionate about mountain sports
