Purchasing Specialist (M/F)

As a Purchasing Specialist for our Distributed Brands you are responsible for the set up and management of product master data, for purchase planning execution and for the management of purchase orders issued to international suppliers.
Tasks & responsibilites
- Management of products’ master data in the ERP system
- Management of planning and purchasing processes for the assigned brands
- Issuing and managing purchase orders according to the agreed commercial conditions in line with the Purchasing Coordinator
- Control of the supply chain in order to guarantee that purchased products are delivered with the expected quality, quantity and on time in order to satisfy customers demand
- Constant and close relationship with our Vendors to build and improve our partnership with strong focus on Processes and Operational Excellence
- Organization of the pick-up and delivery of goods in collaboration with our logistics department
- Monitoring costs of supplies, performance of the supplier and calculation of any penalties for breach of contract
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a similar field
- Preferably previous experience in similar positions / functions (logistics, supply chain, planning)
- Very good Italian & English skills, German is an advantage
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient use of MS Excel and pivot sheets
- Knowledge of Navision and/or Business Central is considered a plus
