Key Account & Customer Operations Coordinator

The Key Account & Customer Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent service to our wholesale key accounts as well as other accounts defined within their designated territories via email, phone,
and in-person interaction. The position’s primary roles are to manage sales order entry, shipment, and aftersales service for our accounts, serve as the primary contact person for these accounts and their respective sales
representatives, and respond to and successfully resolve inquiries and requests promptly and proficiently. Additionally, they will be responsible for daily operational processes and serve as a backup for the Customer Service Manager executing weekly and monthly order and shipment reporting. The Key Account and Customer Operations Coordinator will report to our Customer Service Manager while collaborating closely with and supporting our Key Account Sales Manager.
 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to key accounts while identifying and maximizing sales opportunities in collaboration with our Key Account Sales Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Sales Representatives
  • Ensure that key account order, shipping, and invoicing requirements are executed accurately and consistently
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of EDI and the ability to monitor for and troubleshoot issues promptly and proficiently
  • Enter and process sales orders and client data in the ERP system accurately and efficiently
  • Manage all incoming B2B and Mobi orders as well as other operational tasks to support the Customer Service Manager
  • Release orders to the warehouse for shipment in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate with accounting and sales management for issues related to credit management
  • Process return requests accurately and on-time
  • Administer the warranty claims process for our key accounts and assigned territory dealers
  • Be the primary contact person for assigned accounts – before and after sales – for any inquiries such as product availability, sales order, and shipment status, returns, or other matters
  • Address and resolve any questions or issues involving the correct people in the organization as needed
  • Proactively resolve problems for our accounts and sales representative
  • Support our dealer service team with assorted tasks as requested
  • Execute a variety of projects, assignments, and tasks that may be assigned
  • Attend and assist at tradeshows, sales meetings, sample sales, and other retail and consumer events as needed
  • Serve as backup for Customer Service Manager executing weekly and monthly order and shipment reporting
     

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Two to four years of customer service and/or retail experience, preferably in the ski or outdoor industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Outgoing, social personality. Ability to establish strong professional working relationships
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound decisions
  • Effective time management skills, including the ability to work efficiently, prioritize projects, and be self-motivated
  • Strong organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency
  • A passion for success, a positive attitude, an ability to solve problems, and a strong work ethic
  • A specific passion for mountain sports such as backcountry skiing, climbing/mountaineering, and/or trail running is a plus
     

Workplace: Boulder, Colorado
 

Salary range: $26/hour - $28/hour
